1. Guest Safety Responsibilities
As a guest, you play a key role in maintaining a safe environment. Please follow these guidelines:
- Review Property Details: Before booking, carefully read the property description, house rules, and reviews to ensure the listing meets your safety expectations.
- Follow House Rules: Adhere to the host’s rules, including restrictions on smoking, parties, or unauthorized guests.
- Secure the Property: Lock doors and windows when leaving the property and safeguard any keys or access codes provided.
- Report Issues Promptly: If you notice safety concerns (e.g., faulty locks, electrical issues), contact the host and our support team immediately at support@croftluxury.com.
- Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize yourself with the property’s emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and local emergency contact numbers.
2. Host Safety Responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for ensuring their properties are safe and welcoming. Hosts must:
- Maintain Safe Conditions: Ensure the property is free of hazards (e.g., exposed wiring, slippery floors) and equipped with functional safety features like smoke detectors and secure locks.
- Provide Accurate Information: Clearly describe safety features (e.g., fire extinguishers, first-aid kits) and any potential risks in the listing.
- Conduct Regular Inspections: Check the property before each guest’s arrival to confirm it meets safety standards.
- Communicate Clearly: Provide guests with clear instructions for accessing the property and using appliances or amenities safely.
- Respond to Concerns: Address guest-reported safety issues promptly and escalate unresolved issues to our support team.
3. Community Safety
Both guests and hosts should:
- Respect local laws and regulations, including noise ordinances and community guidelines.
- Avoid illegal activities, such as unauthorized parties or activities that could endanger others.
- Report suspicious behavior to local authorities and our support team at support@croftluxury.com.
4. Emergency Procedures
In case of an emergency:
- Contact local emergency services (e.g., police, fire, medical) immediately.
- Notify your host and our 24/7 support team at +234 816 201 2679 or support@croftluxury.com.
- Follow any posted emergency instructions provided by the host.
